THE SECOND WAVE OF 'SWINE FLU' TO HIT AUSTRALIA

Experts predict another wave of Pandemic Influenza virus to hit Australia shortly. It is important to act within the next two months and it is not recommended to await the release of the Annual Trivalent Flu Vaccine (even though it contains swine flu ingridient), as it may be delayed this year.

We highly recommend taking advantage of this Pandemic Influenza Vaccination Program for yourself and your children as soon as possible, to be prepared for the possible repeat outbreak of 'swine flu'.

Pandemic (Swine Flu) Vaccinations

The program is focused on vaccinating high risk groups, those who are most vulnurable to severe outcomes from the virus. While the emphasis is on the most vulnurable groups, the vaccination of friends and family of the most vulnurable groups is also encouraged!

Pandemic (Swine Flu) Vaccinations for children aged 6 months to 9 years

A two-dose swine flu vaccine for children aged 6 months to 9 years is available. Children aged 10 and above, like adults, require only one dose of the vaccine.

 We highly recommend to take advantage of this vaccination program for your children over the holiday period to make sure they are protected for the upcoming school year 2010
