Overseas Trained Doctors - Position Vacant

Currently, The Chermside Medical Centre is offering a position for a suitably qualified Overseas Trained Doctor to join our team. The position is eligible for District of Workforce Shortage status and full supervision and support will be offered by Dr Alan Jones. As we are in the metropolitan area of Brisbane, DWS status is only applicable to the after hours period. There is also some scope to offer hours during normal hours but this work would only be limited to Occupational Medicine including injury management and pre employment medicals.

Rostering is flexible and is available during the following times regarding the DWS position:

Monday 6pm to 9pm

Tuesday 6pm to 9pm

Wed 6pm to 9pm

Thursday 6pm to 9pm

Friday 6pm to 9pm

Saturday 12 md to 4pm

Sunday 9am to 4 pm

If the successful candidate was willing to deliver Occupational Medicine services, these hours could be added to the start of the above shifts ie say 4pm to 6pm Occupational Medicine and then, 6pm to 9pm normal General Practice with application of usual Medicare Item numbers.
