The successful applicant will have General Practice experience, a good work ethic & excellent communication skills.

Chermside Medical Centre is currently looking to replace 3 GPs who are changing location/career. We welcome any prospective Vocationally Registered GP or trainee to join our highly successful medical team.

About Us

Chermside Medical Centre established in 1997 and remains one of Brisbane's Premier Non Corporate Medical Centres. Recent relocation to the newly built Chermside Medical Complex has enabled the staff to create a new custom designed layout in our fully owned premise located at 956 Gympie Road, just 200m from our previous location on Hamilton Rd. The new centre is nestled in amongst several other allied medical businesses within the building and is located on the ground floor.

With 14 consulting rooms, large waiting room and a 7 bed treatment room, there is plenty of space to deliver high quality medicine and expand as required. Staff includes 12 General Practitioners, 3 Registered Nurses, 1 Endorsed Enrolled Nurse and over 10 Receptionists, many of whom are final year medical students. The key to a smooth running practice revolves around quality management including Dr Alan Jones (Director), General Manager (Anne McCormack) and Nurse/Practice Manager (Amanda Bartley).

Allied Health Specialists include Think Pharmacy; Sullivan and Nicollaides Pathology, Southern X-Ray Radiology, Day surgery (gastroenterology, urology, maxillofacial), Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dietician, Orthopaedic Surgeon, HOCA (cancer chemotherapy and radiotherapy), Geneticist, General Surgeon/Obesity Management (George Hopkins), Psychologist, Counsellor and more. There is also a café and ample parking for patients.
