Our goal is to make your job easier but also to manage bookings in a more streamlined fashion.

1. The calendar is only open for the first 6 months of 2012
2. You may ONLY book ONE appointment per rep. Multiple divisions canvassing the same drug may or may not be looked upon favourably.
3. Reps are to only make appointments for themselves and NO-ONE ELSE
4. Please confirm your appointment ONE WEEK BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT DATE preferably via email.
5. You will be offered a second appointment for the second half of the year provided you have KEPT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT.
6. If you change jobs or someone else takes over your territory, PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP
7. Openings are available for Tuesday and Wednesday lunch times from 12 midday to 1 pm Tuesday and 12 midday to 12.30 on Wednesdays. Wednesdays will be a regular informal session with the GPs/ drug rep.
8 Tuesday will be a one hour session and is designed for education purposes ONLY by either a specialist or a suitably qualified expert. Education should be aimed at areas relevant to general practice and would be useful to GPs in their general diagnosis and management of patients in their everyday practice. Tuesdays will have the most number of doctors present and high attendance rates will be guaranteed. The range of potential topics is endless but a preference toward areas where GP knowledge may be lean. Help can be provided in suggesting specialists that we regularly refer to or often new specialists to the area relish the opportunity to increase their exposure to local GPs. CME points are not necessarily required to be offered.
Some suggested preferred topics that would be well received would include:
Procedures used in general practice ie skin surgery technique, minor surgery, Acute life support/CPR, minor flaps and skin grafting, splinting of limbs in acute trauma (splints, Plaster of Paris), management of Medicare item numbers in billings, ocular diagnosis and management, dermatoscopy and general dermatology, orthopaedic procedures ie intra-articular steroid injections etc
9 We would be appreciative if lunch could be provided for both days. We have a large staff room with a wall suitable for a projector screen.
10 Dr Kim Chye will take separate appts on an individual basis and we will schedule an appointment schedule once all other appointments are filled.

If this information is not included your appointment will be rejected.
You will be sent an email notification as to whether your appointment has been accepted or declined. We will endeavour to approve appointments on a first in first served basis however other factors will be considered and we will aim to book appointments as quickly as we need to.
