Dr Erin Goldstiver Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (physiology), MBBS, Diploma in Child Health (DCH) Erin is a new addition to our practice, having jumped ship from training in Paediatrics to General Practice 2 years ago.
She graduated from Medicine at the University of Queensland in 2003, and since then has been lucky enough to work in some wonderful places such as the Sunshine coast, Alice Springs, and New Zealand (where she became addicted to tramping and realised she couldnt snow board!) She has more recently spent some time working in different departments at the Royal Childrens Hospital, and has completed her Graduate Diploma in Child Health. She has been lucky enough to experience indigenous health first hand, working at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs last year- and felt humbled by the experience.
Her special interests include Children's Health, Womens Medicine, Indigenous Medicine, Mental Health, and Travel Medicine (as long as patients promise to return and tell me their travel stories!)
Ideally she would like to be on an adventure somewhere very exotic, but thinks General Practice is pretty special too!
