The gardasil vaccination is now available on request for males aged between 9 and 26yrs. This vaccine helps in the prevention of external genital lesions and infection caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

In a worldwide multicentre clinical trial in over 4,000 males aged 16 through to 26, the efficacy of GARDASIL against HPV external genital lesions was 90.4%.

gardasillogoHuman papillomavirus or HPV is a virus you may not know too much about—but you should. HPV will affect an estimated 75% to 80% of males and females in their lifetime. For most, HPV clears on its own. But, for others who don’t clear certain types, HPV could cause significant consequences: cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in females. Other types could cause genital warts in both males and females. And there’s no way to predict who will or won’t clear the virus.

This is why it is important to see you doctor about this vaccine  and get a script today. Please note this is not a government funded program.
